The Mathematics minor provides students with a foundation in mathematical skills and analytical reasoning. This minor is especially suitable for students majoring in chemistry, computer information systems, biochemistry, biology, and psychology -- but all students who are interested in enhancing their quantitative abilities are strongly encouraged to complete the minor.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of a Mathematics minor at CSS, students will be able to:
- Fluently use the basic computational math techniques of Calculus, Discrete Math, Linear Algebra, and Statistics.
- Apply mathematical knowledge to a variety of real-world problems.
- Effectively communicate sound mathematical reasoning.
- Use appropriate technology to enhance their understanding of math, their communication of mathematical ideas, and their ability to apply mathematics to solve problems.
