Educational Studies, B.A.

Educational Studies is a non-licensure program providing foundational skills that focus on developing and applying teaching and learning practices in a variety of settings. 

This major supports career exploration for those following a field of study allied with education. This may include:

  • Corporate training and development
  • Youth program directors
  • Early childhood education and program administration
  • Alternative education
  • Career service professionals
  • Religious education
  • Mission work
  • Preparation for advanced study in education adjacent fields

Students complete core EDU courses, including a Senior Capstone, combined with coursework in their designed track.  Potential tracks include: Business, Computer Information Systems, Coaching, Corporate Training, Deaf Language and Culture, Environmental Education, Finance, Outdoor Leadership, Psychology, Religious Studies, and Open Track. Please note, however, that this major is flexible to accommodate many self-designed tracks.
