This online certificate is designed for any professional who is committed to addressing equity and inclusion in their field. Students have the opportunity to examine the needs of a society's changing demographic, systems of power and privilege, and create culturally responsive best practice teaching and learning strategies across any discipline. Participants will deeply examine their ways of thinking, biases and actions to better prepare them to improve the lives of individuals, organizations and those in their sphere of influence.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the certificate in Culturally Responsive Practice, the student will meet the set of program outcomes within the specialized content/context:
- Apply best practices and effective instructional strategies grounded in current education theory to promote student learning.
- Develop cultural self-awareness and cultural fluency to work effectively with students and communities of diverse backgrounds.
- Engage in the process of inquiry and critical thinking regarding current educational issues and practices.
- Be able to examine and analyze data to make informed instructional student centered decisions.
